Press release from the Courtney Rogers Campaign for District 45; July 30, 2012:

Goodlettsville, TN—State House District 45 candidate Lt. Col. Courtney Rogers (Ret.) expressed her appreciation for the endorsement of State Senator Kerry Roberts (R-Springfield). Senator Roberts is the outgoing Senator from District 18.

“I am so appreciative of the confidence placed in me by Senator Roberts, said Rogers as she walked to the next house on Friday. “He is greatly respected in Sumner County as a man of principle and fairness. It’s a shame that he was drawn out of my district. It would have been an honor to serve with him in the General Assembly.”

Roberts made the announcement last Friday on the Steve Gill and Michael DelGiorno radio programs.

“Kerry Roberts is an honorable man who has seen first-hand the need for better representation in District 45,” said Rogers’ Campaign manager Jeff Hartline. “He is well-respected in Sumner County for his common-sense approach to governing and his departure from District 18 is a real loss for Sumner.”

Lt. Col. Courtney Rogers (Ret.), a 17-year resident of Goodlettsville, is a candidate for the State House in TN-45 (Sumner County). Find out more about Rogers at
